"When I finished makeup school in Toronto, I immediately started assisting one of my instructors who worked freelance in the field of makeup and hair.

I absolutely loved working with him, learning from him, doing makeup for TV commercials, editorials, magazine ads and meeting wonderfully creative people along the way. I honestly couldn't believe how fortunate I was.

After about a year of assisting, I got signed with a Toronto-based agency that represents makeup artist and the like. It wasn't until I'd worked in the industry for a while when I realized what drew me there in the first place: I wanted to help people feel better about themselves. To this day, I still want to share my experience I've gained through working with other makeup artists, photographers and directors to let people know that feeling great through looking great is attainable for everyone. I love that what I do is so positive and encouraging."
